Stop Claiming Our Indonesian culture

Indonesia is a country as large and consists of thousands of islands stretching from Sabang to Merauke. The extent of this region that seems to underlie the emergence of extraordinary diversity and not possessed by other nations. There are thousands, maybe millions of cultural artifacts that are stored in the earth earth, ranging from dances, ornaments, cloth, musical instruments, folklore, music and song, food and beverages, art show, product architecture, and so forth. This is an incredible wealth that has been given by God Almighty to the State of Indonesia. This is what may be a background of the nature of jealousy by other nations so that our diversity will lead to action claims.

Some of this time all of us as the Indonesian Blogger and people will act angered neighboring countries that really can not be tolerated. So what should we do?


Angry, emotional and do not accept that's how it felt when I heard from the media when the state deliberately entering Malaysia with Indonesian culture in cultural promotion program.Maybe course they are less attractive to be content in the ad campaign that includes the culture of other countries better. Very embarrassing is not it? Using other state assets to promote the value of their assets so far.

What are our assets claimed by Malaysia ?

But this anger does not mean attitude acted with anarchist action, crime and violence because such things are not the culture of the Indonesian nation. Democratic attitude, tolenransi and creativity that should be used to reduce this anger. Rap song titled You Copy My Style is in the singing by Saykoji is one of the appropriate form of protest because therein is contained a creative work, nationalist feeling and anger are a young nation on the trampled pride.

Some of the above is just a form of protest that Malaysia will act too far. So what can we do to avoid and prevent claims action does not happen again.

• Compile data Indonesian culture artifacts.
• Create the concept of legal protection for Indonesian cultural artifacts. This legal umbrella called Nusantara Cultural Heritage State License.
• Record the Indonesian culture artifacts that allegedly had been stolen, patented or claimed by other countries.

And for the bloggers like me, was supposed to take part to preserve our national culture. Write and transmit and popularize the culture ane with blogs is one way of effective and can be a blogger. Why? because writing that we publish will be spread throughout the world and everyone can mebacanya so people will know that this is a genuine culture of Indonesia.


Let us be a blogger Indonesia who nasionais and more concerned about the culture of the nation. Bloggers have to be a pioneer to do that, because a blogger is not just someone who likes to write chatter irregular, but an intellectual who chose the online media as a tool to express themselves. Stop claiming our culture if you do not want duel with us, Malaysia.
